DAILY RFID has released passive RFID Asset Tracking solution, designed to track and manage mobile and fixed assets through automatic asset tracking. It can automatically keep track of assets as they move in and out of an area, regardless of what type of items, such as document, library books and PCs.

This RFID asset tracking solution, basing on 13.56MHz, is used where the relatively medium range - up to 90cm - is adequate. To enable the stability of the system, rfid asset tracking tags or metal tags are attached to the assets, depending on different environment.

To take inventory, the fixed RFID multi-tag reader DL810 can be installed throughout the entrance. Because the RFID reader DL810 uses an anti-collision algorithm to enable a stack of tagged assets to be scanned simultaneously, when it is in a system which also uses DAILY's DL810 antennas. To prevent tagged items are placed in the wrong location, the handheld reader DL8033 can help to find the assets.

This rfid asset tracking solution can be deployed and tracked automatically to maximize asset utilization, thus reducing error and the time of finding items as the tagging assets move in or out.

My grandfather just passed and we were going through his assets and came upon hundreds of penny stock certificates. Some of the companies we know are still traded and are worth something, some we know went BK. My question(s) are 1.) How do we know if he definitely still owns all of these and didn't just forget to send the certificate in, and 2.) how do we research any other stocks that he may have owned but doesn't have stock certificates for. He loved to diversify so we have already contacted all of his investment brokers, but we also know he did a lot of trading on his own direct with the companies, but just don't know who all of those are. I want to note that a lot of these certificates go back to the 1970's so way before internet record keeping & tracking would have been around. Is there a website that I can type in his name and social and find out his investment information (I know that's too easy). His will was very cut & dry about dividing assets, but didn't detail them.
